Particularly strong evidence for coaching services has been established for diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and heart disease, in addition to moderate evidence for various other disorders. D. Why now? Outside the VHA, entry-level Level III CPTs are not adequate as many large healthcare systems wish to invest in adding the role of coaches and establish coaching services as part of routine healthcare delivery teams and models.
