(as detailed in the tables above) is crafted to stimulate submission growth and article publication in the journal ahead of its indexation in relevant platforms such as Scopus, DOAJ, PubMed/PMC, Medline, etc. Elsevier will be applying for JOMA’s indexation as the journal meets the necessary milestones (for example, the threshold for PMC indexation is 25 published articles).

Financial and Other Contractual Considerations

• Elsevier proposes a contractual term of January 2021 through December 2025 (5 years) for OMA.

• Total royalty payments for JOMA are projected to be $80,780.00 across term (2021-2025). o Royalty calculation = 35% on net revenues over $50,000.00 o 2021 = n/a o 2022 = n/a o 2023 = $10,220.00 o 2024 = $26,180.00 o 2025 = $44,380.00 • Editorial stipend for the Editorial Office of across the 5-year term, totalling = $62,127.00 o 2021 = $10,000.00 o 2022 = $10,200.00 o 2023 = $13,700.00 o 2024 = $13,974.00 o 2025 = $14,253.00

• Total projected financial support for 5-year term: o + $80,780.00 for royalty o + $62,127.00 editorial stipend = $142,907.00

Publisher Relations and Communications

• Elsevier will assign a highly experienced publisher who will work with an extensive team of Elsevier colleagues; Elsevier experts will be available in association discussions and meetings to do with JOMA. • Annual detailed reporting on key performance areas such as bibliometrics, online usage, marketing, and financials will be delivered to OMA, with additional information provided as requested for both OMA leadership and editorial office.

• Annual financial statements for OMA will be delivered on/before April 30 th , including full revenue detail & royalty payment owed.
