Further, this project will additionally be augmented through the development of a prior authorization (PA) tool to be developed in collaboration with PRIME CE https://primece.com and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). Dr. Harold Bays, OMA’s Chief Science Officer, Editor-in-Chief of Obesity Pillars , and Vice President of the OMA worked closely with these organizations in developing a PA tool to assist with payor coverage for PCSK9i for those patients with hypercholesterolemia, which we plan to replicate for AOMs as well.
