OMA’s “Fall Focused” Conference for 2024: “The Summit”

Historical Context: The OMA is moving to an Annual Conference construct versus a twice-yearly conference construct as has been its history for a variety of reasons (fiscal and otherwise), however, the desire of the OMA BOT per the BOT Meeting Minutes of 04/27/2022 requested that the OMA: “retain two in-person meetings a year, with the Spring Conference functioning as the “Spring Main” Conference and the second conference functioning as a “Focused Fall” Conference. The “Focused Fall” Conference will likely be much more abbreviated (such as over a weekend) and focused on a specific patient population or specific disease state.” To that end, the “Fall Focused” Conference will be referred to as the “OMA Summit” nomenclature/branding as above with a substitution of the year which will exist as an in-person experience (only) and a much abbreviated (time-related) conference with a specific patient population or disease focus versus that of the “Spring Main” Conference. The “Spring Main” Conference (commencing in April of 2024 and moving forward) will be referred to as the “OMA Annual Conference” utilizing both the incoming President’s tagline and logo in addition to the locale (city/state) that will host the Annual Conference as noted below for Dr. Fitch’s (outgoing) Spring 2024 Conference in Denver, CO.
