Networking and Leisure Considerations: The OMA Summit 2024 (and all subsequent summit experiences) will be hosted at high-end resorts that offer both optimal leisure and networking opportunities for attendees. The hypothesis is that attendees may attend with their spouse/significant other and/or children since the summit experiences will be over an abbreviated timeframe (and bridged over a weekend) to provide more flexibility for attendees with less time away from their clinical practices as well as other personal and professional duties. As such, the OMA Summit will be hosted at locales that offer a favorable fall climate which are amenable to outings such as shopping, golf, pickleball, tennis, spa time, sightseeing, or the like. Further, we will budget for approximately 300-350 attendees to promote a more intimate setting amenable to networking with other like-minded colleagues, which is challenging in large conferences with multiple co-occurring educational sessions.

Educational Content Considerations: In considering the abbreviated construct of the OMA Summit experiences, less CME hours will be offered to best accommodate the networking opportunities for attendees as noted above. A proposed construct for the OMA Summit education sessions and outings/networking events is as presented in the grid at the conclusion of this document.
