The CAG will serve as a high-level advisory group for content specifically related to OMA’s (new) annual conference, convening in April of 2024. This group would ideally consist of appointed individuals by the sitting OMA President which will include various members of the OMA to include pediatric obesity representation in order to highlight the various voices and perspectives of the OMA’s membership. Dr. Fitch asks the BOT to submit their suggestions for the three members to be appointed to the CAG to her directly. The OMA Education Content Working Group would work closely with the CAG to ensure alignment in educational programming content by reviewing all Calls for Proposals (CFP) submitted to the OMA for upcoming conferences as well as updating the Self-Assessment Program (SAP), infographics, office forms, or other educational products as assigned by the OMA Education Staff. This group would serve as the educational “front-end” reviewers, and as such they will receive an honorarium or a conference discount for their efforts. There will be a call for participation among OMA’s membership coming soon so this group can be convened. The CME Overview Committee would serve as the “back-end” reviewers for OMA’s educational content.
